My grandma survived her first flight ever at age 77. She has always had a fear of flying and finally conquered her fear a few weeks ago! She came to visit us from Texas for about 5 days! We were so proud of her! She admitted the flight wasn't so bad and she loved it only took few hours instead of a whole day's drive. We hope she continues to fly! GO GRANDMA!!!!
The kids went trick or treating around our neighborhood on Halloween. They started asking at 4pm if they could go out and I finanlly gave in about 5:45. We stayed out until 7ish. Jeff stayed home to give out candy to all the trick or treaters. The kids got way too much candy but had a great time! They wanted to draw on their pumpkins this year so that's what we did!!
Aunt Nancy and Aunt Stephanie had a great Halloween party at their house for our family! We celebrated Jeff's birthday, dressed up for Halloween, ate pumpkin soup (among other yummy foods), bobbed for apples, carameled apples, dressed each other as mummies and had a great time of hanging out together!! I have posted a ton of pics because there were just too many good ones! Thanks for such a great time everyone!
Nana, Pa, Malachi, Makaelyn and I went to the pumpkin patch in Hudson, CO. This pumpkin patch has the world's largest corn maze. We of course did not attempt to get through the whole corn maze in less than an hour (would have taken all day). The kids had a great time! The best part was picking out pumpkins!
