Malachi had a physical for football this week. As we went in, he asked me if he had to have a shot and I said I didn't think so. Turns out he did. He was so brave this time. He didn't even flinch or cry!! He's turning into such a big boy!!
So I got the privilege to go to a NFL game with a friend!! I've only been one other time and I don't remember anything from that game as it was snowy, rainy and I was freezing. This time was an awesome experience! The seats were great, the company was great, the food was well you know ball park food (yum, yum) and the weather turned out to be great!! Final score: Denver 23 and Dallas 13. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!
We got to meet Malachi's 1st grade teacher tonight at back to school night. Mrs. Stransky seems really nice and I know he will have a great year! He got to pick out his name tag and put it in the desk he wanted to sit in! We got his school supplies all in his desk. It's official...he'll be in school ALL day now! This has been a big week for Malachi!!!
We had a great day at the Rockies game. The Rockies lost big time to the San Diego Padres, but we still had a fun day. This was Makaelyn's first game! Of course for her it was about the ice cream, popcicals and slushies!! What can you say for a two year old! FUN TIMES!!
After the game we stayed for Faith Day at the Rockies. Steven Curtis Chapman had a concert that was out of this world. I'm amazed by his family and what they have endured after losing their 5 year old daughter this past May. What a wonderful family of faith. It was an emotional concert but one of the best because of its rawness and openess.
