Makaelyn had her dance program at Thorntonfest on Saturday! This was her first time performing on a stage in front of tons of people! She did great!

Her outfit was very casual (which I liked)

makaelyn's spring preschool program...

"The girls" attended Makaelyn's preschool program without "the boys" because Malachi ended up having a baseball makeup game at the same time. We were very suprised to see that Makaelyn spoke in front of everyone before the Pledge of Allegiance!!! She did a great job! We are very proud of her and her first year of preschool!!

crazy weather...

So this is what we woke up to this morning and it's MAY. No doubt it will melt fast but I can't believe there's snow in May. This winter/spring weather has been very different than years past.

malachi's 2nd tooth...

Malachi lost his second tooth on Friday! He was so excited and so were we. We went to the dentist on Monday and were going to have that tooth extracted if he hadn't lost it! Glad we didn't have to do that. The tooth fairy came with another $1!! Yay Malachi!

women's retreat...

I had a great time on the women's retreat I attended this weekend. Thank you, Jeff, for watching the kids so I could go. Debbie, Kim and I rode together to Westcliffe, CO. We stopped to have lunch at the Olive Garden before heading southwest to our destination!

Debbie, Jessica and I went into the little town of Westcliffe on Saturday afternoon to look at all the shops and walk around.

I am in awe of God's creation. The mountains are so beautiful!

This is my favorite of Debbie! She makes me laugh ALOT!
This was the steeple of the local church in Westcliffe!
More beautiful landscape!
Driving and taking a picture...probably not the greatest idea!
We had visitors as we drove back to the camp site from town!

At first I didn't want to attend this retreat but now I know God had me there for a reason. I really needed to here the message and be with women! We learned this weekend about letting go of the flesh and walking in the Spirit! I needed the encouragement of the message and the women! What a great and much needed weekend!
